Zee Marathi


Zee Marathi is an Indian television channel which carries programming in Marathi, an Indian language spoken predominantly by the Marathi people of Maharashtra, India. The channel was launched on 15 August 1999 and was known as Alpha Marathi until 28 March 2004 when it was renamed Zee Marathi.
Zee Marathi is the no. 1 regional Marathi channel in all genre. It lives quite stable on its 1st position for Maharashtrian Audience as has been the undisputed leader in the genre for over 6 continuous years.
The most popular of the channel are the daily soaps - Majhya Navryachi Bayko, Tujhyat Jeev Rangala and the reality show "Chala Hawa Yeu Dya" which is also watched by Hindi audience as various Hindi celebrities are known to frequent it to promote their upcoming movies.
An HD version of the channel, Zee Marathi HD, was launched on 20 November 2016.
