Yuri Shumsky


Yuri Shumsky - Russian actor and theatre director (1887-1954). He was born on November 5, 1887 in Tiraspol and died on June 7, 1954 in Kiev. He was awarded the People's Artist of the USSR, the Honored Art Worker of Ukraine, the Medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", the Order of Lenin, the People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, the Stalin Prize, the Merit artist of Ukrainian SSR, the Order of the Red Banner of Labour.
