Washington Township covers an area of and contains one incorporated settlement, St. Joseph. It contains nine cemeteries: Ashland, B'nai Sholem, Memorial Park, Mount Auburn, Mount Mora, Mount Olivet, Nelson, Ozenberger and Walnut Grove.
