WTCE-TV

WTCE-TV, virtual channel 21, is a TBN owned-and-operated television station licensed to Fort Pierce, Florida, United States, serving the Gold and Treasure Coasts of South Florida. The station is owned by the Community Educational Television subsidiary of the Trinity Broadcasting Network, which manages TBN-owned stations in Florida and Texas on channels allocated for non-commercial educational broadcasting. WTCE-TV's studios are located on North 25th Street in Fort Pierce, and its transmitter is located in unincorporated southeastern Martin County.

History

WTCE-TV commenced broadcast in 1990; an earlier television station in the area that also used to broadcast on channel 21, WIRK-TV in West Palm Beach, was in operation from 1953 to 1956.

Digital television

WTCE-TV discontinued regular programming on its analog signal, over UHF channel 21, on that date. The station's digital signal remained on its pre-transition UHF channel 38. Through the use of PSIP, digital television receivers display the station's virtual channel as its former UHF analog channel 21.
