Vladimir Petrovich Sviridov
Vladimir Petrovich Sviridov - politician and military personnel from Belarus. He was born on December 7, 1897 in Minsk Governorate and died on May 3, 1963 in Saint Petersburg. He graduated from the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia, the M.V. Frunze Military Academy. He was awarded the Order of Kutuzov, 2nd class, the Order of Suvorov, 1st class, the Order of Lenin, the Order of the Red Banner, the Jubilee Medal "XX Years of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army", the Medal "For the Defence of Leningrad", the Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945".
