Virginia's 2nd House of Delegates district


Virginia's 2nd House of Delegates district is one of 100 seats in the Virginia House of Delegates, the lower house of the state's bicameral legislature. District 2 represents parts of Prince William and Stafford counties. The seat is currently held by Jennifer Carroll Foy.

2017

The seat was previously held by L. Mark Dudenhefer. He announced in January 2017 he would not seek reelection.
Jennifer Foy won the June 2017 primary to become the Democratic candidate. She initially faced Republican Laquan Austion; however he withdrew from the race in August 2017. Republicans selected Michael Makee to run instead.
