''The Amazing Race Asia'': Season 3

Vince Matthew Chung, along with his team member Sam Wu, became the first winners of The Amazing Race Asia from Hong Kong in November 2008. Despite starting the final week with a 4-hour penalty they were able to fight back from the last place to claim victory in Phuket, Thailand ahead of Geoff & Tisha and Ida & Tania. The fact that Vince & Sam were originally a standby team and had been confirmed as contestants for The Race at the very last minute made this a first in the history of the popular television / reality show.
