Vida Ghahremani
Vida Ghahremani was an Iranian film actress.
She began acting in films as a teenager. Her earliest work was in 1958 called Toofan dar shahre ma. After receiving her degree in Early Childhood Development, she worked at Kanoon e Parvaresh e Fekri e Koodakan, Tehran, Iran.
She taught creative theatre and Persian language in Pleasanton, California and Persian Center, where she had been an active member since its establishment in Berkeley, California and Artistic associate in San Francisco Golden Thread Production. Vida Ghahremani published Aroussi e Khale, Auntie’s Wedding, a collection of autobiographic stories in 2008. Her second book, Safar e Kaash, Trip to Kaash, published in 2010, was an autobiographical story of adventures during her early years of marriage to David Yeghiazarian.Career
Ghahremani received a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and held a diploma in Directing and Producing television. She was a member of the Screen Actors Guild, the Gem and Mineral society. She was the mother of three and in 2007 finished a film with director Wayne Wang called A Thousand Years of Good Prayers as supporting actress.Selected films
