Vastator


Vastator is a Chilean thrash metal formed in 1986.

History

It all started in Santiago de Chile in 1986 when he lived boom thrash metal.
Inspired by the British heavy metal and American thrash, Mr. Diaz, Sergio Bustamante, Gerardo Package Barrenechea Hormazabal and united to form Vastator.
The band from the beginning made a difference in their proposal that led him to become a fundamental pillar of rock in Chile during the eighties. Accompanied by "The Allied Hordes", made memorable appearances Vastator Chile, visited neighboring countries and recorded demos of great recognition that today are considered valuable collectibles.
After four grueling years Vastator dissolved, leaving a void in the Chilean scene.
In 1998 the group rose from the ashes with their faces painted and covered with leather, and soon assumed the role of cult band to further establish itself as a Chilean metal legend. The release of their comeback album is accompanied by the Pack out who is replaced by Peyote Barrera year.
In 2001,Night of San Juan was also accompanied by the departure of a member of the original,Sergio Bustamante, which is replaced by Francisco Gutierrez.
To date, Vastator has 3 albums and have enjoyed great public and critical reception by the specialized media in both Chile and abroad.
Agreements with international labels in recent years have enabled the internationalization of the band's sound unprecedented step that led to the first Aztec lands.
After the publication of Hell Only Knows, Francisco Gutiérrez away from the band and was replaced by Felipe Hernandez who quickly integrated and permeated the spirit of Vastator.
Vastator today is on the verge of launching a new work titled Machine Hell, which promises to be a new step in the evolution of the band.
