The company manufactured its phones in Salo, Finland. It used Nokia's old production facilities. The company was named after Alan Turing.
The Finnish company filed for bankruptcy in February 2018 having about 1,9 million euros in debt. The bankruptcy was granted on February 5. Founder Steve Chao told, however, that the company would continue in Salo. The company was registered as defunct on January 14, 2020.

HubblePhone

Turing announced it's new phone, HubblePhone, in 2018. The designer of the phone is Finnish Paavo Pietola. The phone is due to be released in June 2020 and is meant to run on Sailfish OS and Android. The price of the phone has been estimated at 2,750 $. Reviews have considered the plans ambitious, but because of the problems in delivering the previous phone models the successful release has been considered uncertain.
The phone's app store works using only currencies. In the beginning the store is meant to only accept the BitHubble cryptocurrency. The phone is also pre-ordered by buying BitHubble cryptocurrency with Bitcoin.
