Colonel Sir Trevor Thomas is the Chief of Defence for Antigua & Barbuda, overseeing command of the Royal Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force.
Thomas, as a Lieutenant, led the fourteen-man Royal Antigua Barbuda Defence Force team sent to participate in the United States's Invasion of Grenada in 1983.
In 1991, as a Major, he penned the article "Roles, Capabilities and Limitations of the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force".
He was knighted in 2015, the first Chief of Defence to be thus honoured, and stated that he was "not going to let it get to my head. I have work to do...to upgrade our force".
