Tim Kapucian


Tim L. Kapucian is the Iowa State Senator from the 38h District. A Republican, he has served in the Iowa Senate since 2009. He received his B.A. in Animal Science from Iowa State University, has been a farmer for the past 27 years, and is a past president of the Iowa Pork Producers. He currently resides in St. Ansgar, Iowa with his wife Brenda and two children.
As of February 2020, Brown serves on the following committees: Transportation, Agriculture, and Natural Resources and Environment. He also serves on the International Relations Committee, as well as the Fuel Distribution Percentage Formula Review Committee, and the Statewide Interoperable Communications System Board.
Kapucian was elected in 2008 to the 20th district with 15,527 votes, defeating Democratic opponent Randy Braden.
