The Last Outlaw is a 1936 American western film directed by Christy Cabanne from a screenplay by John Twist and Jack Townley, based on the story by E. Murray Campbell and the renowned director John Ford. This would be the final of 10 writing credits attributed to Ford. RKO Radio Pictures premiered the film in New York City on June 12, 1936, and released it nationally the following week on June 19.
