The Killing Blade


The Killing Blade is a 1998 competitive fighting game released by IGS on arcade game machine. Development for the game took two years. In September 2005, IGS released a remake titled The Killing Blade Plus only in China.

Plot

The Mongol invasion of China has left the country in ruin. Five sects consisting of twelve warriors battle each other, then find the defeat the black hand of the wars: The Twin Tartars and Lord Wizard. Victory would earn the title "Superior Martial Paladin" to conquer China, bring order and establish a new empire.

Gameplay

The game has a post Dynasty Wars setting and the game mechanics are similar to SNK's The Last Blade franchise, including weapon and kick attacks, combo attacks and power charging.
