Syriac Catholic Archeparchy of Baghdad
The Syriac Catholic Archeparchy of Baghdad is a non-metropolitan archeparchy of the Syriac Catholic Church sui iuris for the central part of Iraq.
It is directly dependent on the Syriac Catholic Patriarch of Antioch, not part of his or any other ecclesiastical province, and in Rome depends on the Congregation for the Oriental Churches.
Its cathedral archiepiscopal see is the Sayidat al-Nejat Cathedral, in Iraqi national capital Baghdad.History
