The Swiss women's national ice hockey team represents Switzerland at the International Ice Hockey Federation's IIHF World Women's Championships. The women's national team is controlled by the Schweizerischer Eishockeyverband. Switzerland is currently ranked 5th in the world in women's ice hockey. Switzerland has 1043 female players at 2011.
