Svava Rós Guðmundsdóttir


Svava Rós Guðmundsdóttir is an Icelandic footballer, who has made seven appearances for the Iceland women's national football team. She currently plays for Damallsvenskan team Kristianstads DFF.

Career

Domestic career

Svava Rós started her career in 2011 with Icelandic team Valur. In 2013, at the age of 17, she signed a two-year contract with Valur. For the, Svava Rós transferred to Breiðablik. Svava Rós had the most assists in the 2016 and 2017 Úrvalsdeild kvenna championships.
In 2018, Svava Rós signed for Norwegian Toppserien team Røa IL. In the 2018 Toppserien, Svava Rós scored 14 goals in 21 matches, and was named in the Team of the Year. In November 2018, Svava Rós signed for Swedish team Kristianstads DFF for the 2019 Damallsvenskan season.

International career

Svava Rós has made six appearances for Iceland U17, and scored a goal in a match against Austria U17. She has made nine appearances for Iceland U19, and seven appearances for the senior team. She scored a goal in a 2019 Algarve Cup match against Portugal women's national football team, as Iceland won 4–1.
