Sus al-Aksa

Sus al-Aksa or Sus al-Aqsa was a town in Morocco. It was located near Tangier and was part of a trade network connecting the Straits of Gibraltar with Kairouan, Libya and Egypt. It is mentioned in, among other works, the Book of Roads and Kingdoms by ibn Khordadbeh, who identifies it as a layover point for Jews merchants known as the Radhanites.
