Cape Simpson
.
Discovered
in
February 1931
by the
British Australian New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition
under
Mawson
. He named it for
Captain
J.B. Stevenson,
Royal Navy
, a member of the
Australian Aurora Committee
, 1916–17.
