Spišské Bystré, until 1948 Kubachy is a large village and municipality in Poprad District in the Prešov Region of northern Slovakia.History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1294.Geography
The municipality lies at an elevation of 674 metres and covers an area of 38.031 km². It has a population of about 2400 people.In a village is a football club. In the nearby locality Kubašok is ski-lift, so the village developed a touristic infrastructure. Cultural sightseeing is Roman Catholic neo-gothic church, rebuilt in 1926.
