Skyguard Ltd

Skyguard Ltd is a UK based lone worker protection provider.

History

Skyguard’s service was originally intended for use by Police forces to protect domestic abuse victims, potential kidnap targets and those on witness protection schemes. Due to market evolution, it became clear that a similar level of protection was required to safeguard lone workers thus becoming Skyguard’s core market today.
In 2009, Skyguard developed its own Alarm Receiving Centre to manage emergency calls on a daily basis, becoming the first of its kind to receive the lone worker monitoring service standard.
In 2010, Skyguard Ltd was wholly acquired by the Send for Help Group, founded by James and Will Murray and backed by their father Jan Murray, the technology entrepreneur.
In December 2017, Send For Help was announced as one of Britain’s fastest growing companies for a second consecutive year. The Fast Track 100 list, which is published annually in The Sunday Times, ranks Britain’s top 100 private companies with the fastest growing sales over their latest three years. The company ranks at no. 47 in 2016 and no. 80 in the 2017 league table.
