Skip Kelly


Skip Kelly is an American radio personality and Program Director known for his voice work and radio shows. He has spent over 25 years in the broadcast radio industry. On air, he has shared the same mic as well known personalities Ryan Seacrest, Danny Bonaduce, Delilah, Matt Siegel, and Dale Dorman. He has also produced live music from Dave Matthews, Coldplay, Dido and Sarah McLachlan. Skip has appeared in Billboard Magazine and Teen People Magazine. His voice has been heard in campaigns for brands and products like Volkswagen, Rain-X, Nabisco, Budweiser, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, Disney, and Volvo.
In 2001 Kelly hosted "The Movie Loft" for the UPN network, one of the first "hosted movie" franchises on television long before it became a staple on cable. He has also been a contributor to both MTV and Entertainment Tonight providing interview footage with stars like Ricky Martin, Nelly Furtado, Lionel Richie and others.
Since 2004, Skip has been based out of Jacksonville, Florida. In October, 2017 he returned as Program Director for Top-40, 97.9 KISS FM after leaving the station in 2006. In January, 2017, Kelly launched Latin Tropical, and took on programming responsibilities. In May 2013, Kelly took over programming duties at Adult Hits, 107.3 The River, formerly JACK fm. Kelly came to iHeartMedia Jacksonville in 2004 from Los Angeles, to serve as Program Director for WFKS-FM, 97.9 KISS FM. In the past, he has worked for stations such as KIIS-FM and KYSR Los Angeles, KISS 108 Boston, 98PXY, Rochester, WAAF and WZOU Boston.
