Shimelis Abdisa


Shimelis Abdisa is an Ethiopian politician who is serving as the Deputy President of Oromia region of Ethiopia since April 2019. He is the de facto ruler of the region.

Background

Shimelis Abdisa was born in Oromia, Ethiopia. Before his current appointment, he has served in various roles including chief of staff of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
