Sharman DiVono


Sharman DiVono is a science fiction novelist, short story writer, comics writer, and television writer.
DiVono's first published credits, in the 1981–1983, were as writer for the syndicated comic strips Star Trek and The Legend of Bruce Lee, both with the Los Angeles Times Syndicate. DiVono relied on her own background as a martial artist when writing the Bruce Lee strip.
DiVono's graphic novel, Samurai, Son of Death, was the first collaboration between an American comic book writer and a Japanese Manga artist.
Her novel Blood Moon is a murder mystery which takes place in the near-future of a United States base on the Moon.
DiVono's short stories based on the Silver Surfer character have been published in Silver Surfer anthologies. Her television writing has been of different genres altogether: comedy cartoons such as DuckTales and Garfield and Friends and the adventure cartoon series .
DiVono is currently developing a concept for a crime-detective television series set in ancient Rome.
