Scarce swift
The scarce swift is a species of swift in the family Apodidae.
It is found in Burundi, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
It is the only species in the genus Schoutedenapus. Schouteden's swift was previously considered a distinct species, but was found to be a darker juvenile or sub-adult scarce swift subspecies chapini.
