Savli is a village near Vadodara, Gujarat in Western India. One of the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation centres is very near to it, including companies such as Nirma Chemical, Bombardier Transportation and Thermax. The branch of Santram temple is also located in this village near the MahiSagar River. The population in Savli comprises Bania, Patel, Brahmin and Rajputs, Muslims also are part of the village. The main crop of this village is tobacco. Savli is also known for Swamiji, World-famous slogan "satya sankap no data bhagavan". Swamiji did a lot of things for improve standard of life of people. He gave educational institute, medical, sanitation, cultural and community facilities for people.
Industry
owned industrial estate spread over 800 hectares in Savli houses several multinational companies in engineering and electronics. While biggies like Bombardier and ABB have announced expansion plans in the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation estate in Savli, others like FAG Bearings and Voith Siemens have evinced interest in investing in the region. In all, Savli is expected to witness investments worth Rs 10,000 crore in the coming years. The region has gained prominence since it falls on the Savli-Halol route of the Delhi Mumbai Investment Corridor. Also, Savli has also been recognised as a location for Export PromotionIndustrial Park which is proposed to be elevated to Special Economic Zone. Even as the country gears up for metro rail projects under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission, Canadian rail equipment manufacturing company Bombardier Transportation recently expanded its railway vehicle manufacturing facility in Savli at an investment of Rs 200 crore. Spread across an area of 165,000 sq metres, the facility will produce railway vehicle including stainless steel carbody and bogie, apart from conducting final assembly activities. With a manufacturing capacity of 24 metro rail cars per month, the plant will be the only supplier to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. Similarly, energy player Thermax Limited is investing around Rs 1,000 crore in Savli to add substantially to its manufacturing capacity. German players Voith Siemens and R+B Filter GmbH will be investing around Rs 150 crore and 50 crore respectively for hydroelectric.
Bombardier Transportation Plant
A Movia-car manufacturing and Electrical componentmanufacturing Plant is located in Savli, Vadodara. It was opened in 2009,which brought Savli on the World map. The plant manufactures coaches for Delhi Metro. The plant houses various manufacturing units along with a 2.5 km of testing metro track. Around 500 people are employed with the plant. The plant is also currently manufacturing coaches for the New Generation Rollingstock trains for Brisbane in South East Queensland.
Connectivity
Savli is connected to all major towns of Gujarat by public transport service operated by GSRTC.but it has only bus for Vadodara, Anand, and Gothra only. Mostly people are preferred to ride bike for transportation because of not much availability.

Savli is an education hub for primary, secondary and higher secondary for people of Savli town and nearby villages. It is just because of Swamiji. Swamiji gifted Gangotri Shishu Vihar, Gangotri High School and Upasana Mandir for kid's education. Savli has a one Girls School named H.P Sheth Kanya Vidhyalay. Moreover, it becoming an educational hub with an educational campus including KJIT Savli. The K. J. Institute of Engineering and Technology where student can study different education stream like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Civil, Computer Engineering and Information Technology diploma and B.E. courses like BCA and a Gujarati & English medium School named K J Vidhyamandir is also providing quality education like metro cities in Savli. In addition to this college there are arts & commerce colleges named B.K Patel Arts and Commerce college. Lastly, Savli has a Swamiji gifted homeopathic medical college named Gujarat Homeopathic College for studying Homeopathy. K. J. Institute of Ayurveda & Research is an ayurvedic college established in savli in 2017.
