Savile baronets
There have been three baronetcies created for persons with the surname Savile.
The Savile Baronetcy, of Thornhill in the County of York, was a title in the Baronetage of England. It was created on 29 June 1611 for George Savile, MP for Boroughbridge 1586-1587 and Yorkshire 1592. The baronet was later created Marquess of Halifax.
The Savile Baronetcy, of Metheley in the County of York, was a title in the Baronetage of England. It was created on 29 June 1611 for Henry Savile. He was MP for Aldborough and York. It was extinct on his death.
