Sanah (singer)


Zuzanna Irena Jurczak, known professionally as Sanah, is a Polish singer-songwriter. She received nationwide popularity in 2020, with the release of her single "Szampan", which became a number-one hit in Poland. She later released her debut studio album Królowa dram, which peaked at number-one in Poland.

Career

2019–present: Career beginnings and ''Królowa dram''

Born in Warsaw, Jurczak graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in 2019, receiving her music degree with a specialization in violin. After graduating, she began a music career and was signed to Magic Records. Her debut extended play Ja na imię niewidzialna mam was released in October 2019. In January 2020, she received three nominations at the 2020 Fryderyk Awards, the Polish equivalent of the Grammys.
She released the single "Szampan" in January 2020, which went on to become a number one hit in Poland. It was followed by the single "Melodia", which also reached number one. Her debut studio album Królowa dram was later released in May 2020, which became her first chart-topping album in her home country.
