Robert Grdović
Robert Grdović is a Croatian futsal coach and former player. He is current working as a coach.Player career
During his futsal career, he played for the clubs MNK Uspinjača Zagreb, Cagliari, Genzano, Petar, HMNK Gospić, Broadsplit Engineering, Zapad. He completed his career in 2011.
He played for the Croatian national futsal team. He has performed at the 1999 European Championships in Spain, the 2000 World Cup in Guatemala and the 2001 World Cup in Russia. He played his first game against the Czech Republic on September 29, 1998, and his last game against Italy on April 16, 2008. In total he played 56 matches for the Croatian national team and scored 40 goals. He retired in 2011 to play.Coach career
As a football coach, he was a mentor of the Croatian teams Zapad and F.C. Nacional. Grdović worked as the coach-consultant of the Croatian national futsal team.
With the cooperation of the Croatian Football Federation and Football Federation of Turkmenistan on March 21, 2019, it was announced that it had been agreed that Ante Miše would take over the Turkmenistan national football team and Robert Grdović to the Turkmenistan national futsal team.
In March 2020, due to the expiration of the contract and the postponement of matches of the 2020 AFC Futsal Championship, left from Turkmenistan with Turkmenistan national football team head coach Ante Miše and goalkeeper coach Sandro Tomic.
