Robert Fein


Robert Fein was an Austrian weightlifter.

Career

He competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics.
He was born to a Jewish Family and died in Vienna.
In 1936 he won the gold medal in the lightweight class after sharing the win with Anwar Mesbah. He was Jewish; he was one of a number of Jewish athletes who won medals at the Nazi Olympics in Berlin in 1936.
In 1937 he was decorated with the Gold Medal for Service to the Republic of Austria.
