Ringbone Formation
The Ringbone Formation is a Campanian geologic formation in New Mexico. The formation comprises mudstones and yellow sandstones deposited in a lacustrine to deltaic environment. Dinosaur remains of tyrannosaurs and hadrosaurs are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation, although none have yet been referred to a specific genus.
