Richard Scolyer
Professor Richard Scolyer is an Australian pathologist, medical researcher and the current Co-Medical Director at Melanoma Institute Australia. Scolyer is the president of the Australasian Division of the International Academy of Pathology and clinical professor at the University of Sydney.
Richard Scolyer graduated in medical studies from the University of Tasmania. After clinical training in Australia and overseas, he completed pathology training at the Canberra Hospital and at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital leading to Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. He is a Senior Staff Specialist Pathologist, Tissue Pathology and Diagnostic Oncology, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Co-Director of Research, Melanoma Institute Australia.
