René Verheyen
René Verheyen is a retired Belgian football midfielder.Club career
During his active career he played for Lokeren, Club Brugge and K.A.A. Gent. He has since his retirement worked as a manager, most notably for Club Brugge between 1999 and 2000. He is currently managing K.M.S.K. Deinze.Verheyen was a member of the Belgian team that finished second in the 1980 UEFA European Championship, and also participated in the 1982 FIFA World Cup and the 1984 UEFA European Championship.
