Reinhard Straumann - mechanical engineer from Switzerland. He was born on November 3, 1892 in Bennwil and died on October 2, 1967 in Waldenburg. He was awarded the Wilhelm Exner Medal, the honorary doctorate from the University of Stuttgart.
