Razová


Razová is a village in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has 520 inhabitants and lies on the shore of Slezská Harta Dam.

History

Until 1918, Raase was part of the Austrian monarchy, in the Freundenthal district, one of the 8 Bezirkshauptmannschaften in Austrian Silesia.
A post-office was opened in 1870.
The village had 1,839 inhabitants according to the Austrian census of 1910, all of whom had permanent residence there. The self-identified native language was German with 1,830 or 99.5%. Most populous religious group were Roman Catholics with 1,829.
