Raphaël Trichet du Fresne
Raphaël Trichet du Fresne - First publisher of Leonardo's treatise on painting in 1651 and author of the first published annotated art bibliography. Trichet du Fresne was the son of the lawyer and bibliophile Pierre Trichet (1586/7–ca. 1649).. He was born on April 27, 1611 in Bordeaux and died on June 4, 1661 in Paris. He graduated from the College of Guienne.
