Radovica

village
in the
Municipality of Metlika
in the
White Carniola
area
of
southeastern
Slovenia
, next to
the border
with
Croatia
. The area is part of the
traditional region
of
Lower Carniola
and is now included in the
Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region
.
The local
parish church
is
dedicated
to the
Assumption of Mary
and
belongs to
the
Roman Catholic Diocese of Novo Mesto
. It was built in the second half of
the 18th century
on the site of a 14th-century church.
