Qazaq Air


Qazaq Air is a Kazakh airline, which operates scheduled services from its main hub in Nur-Sultan and focuses on domestic flights.

History

Qazaq Air was founded in April 2015 by the sovereign wealth fund Samruk-Kazyna. The airline was launched on 6 July 2015. It commenced operations on 27 August 2015 on the Almaty to Nur-Sultan route.
Qazaq Air joined IATA, becoming the association's 293rd member.
In 2019 Qazaq Air successfully concluded the 2nd IOSA. Thus, the airline renewed its IOSA registration and IOSA Operator status until November 2021.
In 2019, Qazaq Air took delivery of two new aircraft and now operates a fleet of five De Havilland Dash-8-Q400NG turboprop aircraft with an average age of less than three years.
