Prime Directive Records
Prime Directive Records is an independent record label based in Balboa, California. Started in 1997, the label is notable for releasing the debut albums of a number of bands which would go on to success in the hardcore punk and metalcore genre.
Bands that have gone on to sign to "bigger" labels as a result of their work on Prime Directive include Throwdown who signed to Indecision Records and Trustkill Records, and Bleeding Through who signed to Indecision Records, Trustkill Records, and now resides on Rise Records.
