Poole People Party
The Poole People Party is a movement and local political party in Poole, Dorset, England. The party had four councillors for most of the 2011–2015 term due to a defection by a Conservative councillor. In the 2019 local elections for the new Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, seven councillors were elected, an increase of four. This saw the party join the Unity Alliance Administration. However, in October of that year two councillors resigned from the group to sit as independents, but remained as part of the administration.General election
The party leader and councillor Mark Howell stood for the party in the Poole constituency in the 2015 election. The party did not contest the seat in the 2017 snap election.
