Pied plover
The pied plover, also known as the pied lapwing, is a species of bird in the family Charadriidae. It is a strongly marked bird with a prominent black V on its mantle.The pied plover is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are forest rivers, savannah ponds and the sea coast.
