but it is mainly absent from Azores, Canary Islands, Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Madeira, Malta, Portugal, and central part of Russia. To the east it extends to the Caucasus.Ecology
Phytocoris ulmi found in hedgerows and woods especially on hawthorn.
