Penmesterol , or penmestrol, also known as 17α-methyltestosterone 3-cyclopentyl enol ether, is a synthetic, orally active anabolic-androgenic steroid that was developed in the early 1960s. It is the 3-cyclopentyl enol ether of methyltestosterone.
