Pelita Air PT Pelita Air Service , usually shortened to Pelita Air , or PAS , is an airline based in Jakarta, Indonesia . It operates on behalf of the state oil company Pertamina and provides executive transport, charters, oil and gas support operations and general Aviation Services . Its main base is Pondok Cabe Airport . Pelita Air is listed in category 1 by Indonesian Civil Aviation Authority for airline safety quality.History The airline was established in 1963 and started operations on 24 January 1970 . It has been run as a standalone subsidiary since 1981.
