Padar, Rewa
Padar is a village of Mauganj tehsil in the Rewa district of India. It is situated near about 8 km south from Mauganj. It played an important role in growth of Rewa district.
There is a big dam in Padar at south direction of Barahawatola and Nandanpur, the village having 100 percent Hindu community with 80 percent Kurmi patel by caste. The main occupation of villagers are agriculture farming and every family is educated and focusing on child education and the student from village is studying at IIT,NIT and other reputed colleges in India The Dam played important role in irrigation of land of nearby villages i.e. Nandanpur, Padar, Kirtiya and many others villages.
