P.C.T is a London-based independent recording artist/producer who produces hip-hop/rap music. "P" has released numerous singles, freestyles, an EP and performed around Greater London.
History
Early life
Growing up in London, England, P.C.T first took up music as a hobby during his time at primary school, where he took lessons in playing both the recorder and the guitar. After primary school, "P" fell back into music as it was the only school class that still had places available when he arrived late on GCSE subject selection day. Nonetheless, it was here that 'P' was formally introduced to composing and writing songs. Making music eventually grew from being a mere hobby into a passion.
Formation
After noticing a lack of originality in the work of some popular hip hop acts, P began to write and perform his own hip hop songs. After developing his music industry knowledge via some part-time work as a roadie/A&R for a popular DJ, P continued to develop as a producer before studying music/film/business at university, after which he established the independent record label DMR.
