There were 134 households of which 27.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.5% were married couplesliving together, 15.7% had a female householder with no husband present, 6.7% had a male householder with no wife present, and 32.1% were non-families. 28.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 12% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.40 and the average family size was 2.87. The median age in the village was 43.5 years. 22.7% of residents were under the age of 18; 7.1% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 21.8% were from 25 to 44; 29.2% were from 45 to 64; and 19.3% were 65 years of age or older. There were 163 housing units at an average density of 313.9 per square mile. The racial makeup of the village was 98.84% White, 0.87% Native American, 0.29% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.58% of the population. There were 140 households out of which 31.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.0% were married couples living together, 6.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.7% were non-families. 29.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.46 and the average family size was 2.97. In the village, the population was spread out with 26.4% under the age of 18, 5.5% from 18 to 24, 24.1% from 25 to 44, 25.8% from 45 to 64, and 18.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females, there were 102.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 104.8 males. As of 2000 the median income for a household in the village was $27,500, and the median income for a family was $30,139. Males had a median income of $22,917 versus $20,469 for females. The per capita income for the village was $11,979.
