Norcross was platted in 1881. The city's name is an amalgamation of Henry Allyn Norton and Judson Newell Cross, the founders. A post office has been in operation at Norcross since 1881.
As of the census of 2010, there were 70 people, 29 households, and 20 families living in the city. The population density was. There were 39 housing units at an average density of. The racial makeup of the city was 74.3% White, 1.4% Native American, 20.0% from other races, and 4.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 25.7% of the population. There were 29 households of which 27.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.6% were married couplesliving together, 10.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.0% were non-families. 31.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.41 and the average family size was 3.05. The median age in the city was 41.5 years. 28.6% of residents were under the age of 18; 2.8% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 21.4% were from 25 to 44; 25.8% were from 45 to 64; and 21.4% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 37.1% male and 62.9% female.

There were 33 households out of which 21.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.5% were married couples living together, 9.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.4% were non-families. 39.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 27.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.79 and the average family size was 2.30. In the city, the population was spread out with 13.6% under the age of 18, 5.1% from 18 to 24, 13.6% from 25 to 44, 35.6% from 45 to 64, and 32.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 53 years. For every 100 females, there were 84.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 104.0 males.
