Nevele Nevele is a former municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders . The municipality comprises the towns of Hansbeke, Landegem, Merendree, Nevele proper , Poesele and Vosselare . On January 1 , 2006 Nevele had a total population of 11,217. The total area is 51.89 km² which gives a population density of 216 inhabitants per km² .Effective 1 January 2019, the municipality was merged into Deinze .Subdivisions Nevele consists of six deelgemeenten .borders with:a.
