National Rhododendron Gardens
National Rhododendron Gardens is a garden in Mount Dandenong, located about 500 meters east from the Olinda township, Australia. It is famous for its colored blooms of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, cherries and daffodils. Spring is the best season to visit. There are also some smaller gardens, like the Japanese Garden. In September and early October each year, when the cherry blossom is in bloom, people visit Cherry Tree Grove in the gardens, and the Japanese-themed festivals held in the area.
The gardens are also known as the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden. Entry is free, with paid tours available on some days of the week.
